Saved as a young boy (9 years old); did not fully comprehend the full impact of my salvation decision until I was about 35 years old. At that time the Lord impressed upon my heart that I had been living a selfish, immoral and ungodly life style (this as I reflected upon the loss of by brother, my father, my father in-law and a brother in-law.) God was so merciful! He began to show me how to live the life that could honor and please HIM. Through lots of good Bible teaching in 3 different churches he grew me into leadership roles that I would have never
imagined I would be doing. During this time, my wife and 3 sons were saved and began to live their lives for the Lord as well. There has been several trials that God has led me through as He has continued to grow me, but mostly I can just look back and see HIS hand of mercy, grace and love poured out in so many ways on me, my family and my extended family. I am privileged to be able to serve in the position of Elder in our church here in Rio Rancho!
