Terri Wade – Receptionist

Terri WadeA good friend of mine invited me to a church service here at Calvary Chapel Rio Rancho in 2001. Soon after that I began to volunteer two hours a week to clean the church. After a month or so, I was asked if I would like to pray about coming in and answering the phones. I accepted, very gratefully. Through all the exposure to the truth and to the love of God through so many wonderful people, my salvation came! To this date I am the front desk receptionist and facilitate women’s Bible studies in my home.

1. What are some of your hobbies?

I love to go camping and fishing. There is nothing quite like the sound of a rushing river and the smell of pine trees.

2. What is your favorite book in the Bible?

Philippians; It is full of instructions of being a servant, looking to the interests of others, encourages us to love and serve in the Body of Christ.

3. What is your favorite Bible verse and why?

Philippians 1:6, “being confident of this, that HE who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”. Hope!!!

4. What is your best childhood memory?

We had a couple of horses growing up, and that was the best time, when Mom and Dad would actually let us leave the farm and go exploring with them down by the river. Fun times!!
