When Paul was writing to the church of Ephesus he said, “…we will hold to the truth in love, becoming more and more in every way like Christ, who is the head of His Body, the Church. Under his direction, the whole Body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole Body is healthy and growing and full of love.” (Ephesians 4:15-16, NLT)
A ministry is simply a group of fellow believers in Jesus that are encouraging each other to grow in the Lord with a common purpose. Among the many purposes, these ministries build up their fellow believers and reach out to the lost and unsaved. These ministries started because the Lord laid it on the hearts of a few people to encourage the Body of Christ in a particular way.
One of the best ways to get plugged into the Body of Christ is by getting involved in one of these ministries. We hope you will join us as we seek to encourage the Body and draw near those who are afar off.
